How to Make a Wire Mandala

I have finally done a craft in time for a holiday! Here's a video on how to make a wire mandala, which I think makes an awesome Christmas tree ornament!

  1. THIS IS GREAT! I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE IT BIG ENOUGH TO WEAR IT AS A BRACELET...WHAT WOULD BE THE SIZES OF THE WIRES?

  2. I recommend you play around for your specific wrist size. I have small wrists (6 inches) and the first madala I made, which is big enough for me to wear as a bracelet, had the circle parts made at 8 1/2 inches, with the petal wires cut at about 4 inches. With petals that big the "bracelet" would be more of a big cuff, though, at almost 3 inches wide. If you only want to wear it as a bracelet, you might consider making the petals shorter and locking them into place with wire.

  4. Hi Camille!!! Thanks for the tutorial! I have made two so far, could put them together thanks to your explanation. If you want to take a peek it's on my blog post Wired

BTW I gave the link to my wire wrapping course teacher and classmates, we were trying to make the mandala for two weeks, despite they only speak Spanish they could understand easily, so they wanted me to tell you how grateful they are.

    Hugs from Venezuela!!!
